Enrolment process (long day care and out of hours care)
On enrolment at Karmai you will meet an educator who will show you around the service (if you wish to have a walk through).
The educator will take you throughout the Karmai building, meeting the staff along the way and experiencing the various programs our Centre has to offer.
Families will then be provided with an enrolment pack that will include important information about the service and a link to enrol via our online enrolment page (see link to online enrolments below).

Please remember once your child is enrolled at our service it is your responsibility to inform Karmai Community Children’s Centre of any changes to your child’s enrolment information including:

- An up-to-date immunisation summary
- Any relevant court orders
- Any medical action plans

- Change in medical conditions
- Change of family circumstances

Funded kinder programs
Registration for all funded Kindergarten programs (including three-year-old kinder), are coordinated through South Gippsland Shire Council.

Fees and charges
Every effort is made to keep fees at a minimum while maintaining a high level of qualified staff and ensuring appropriate resources are available to provide quality education and care programs.
The daily rate for long day care can be reduced for eligible families by accessing child care subsidy through Centrelink.
Health Care Card/Pensioner Card holders are eligible for a full subsidy for the kindergarten program. Further details regarding this subsidy will be provided at enrolment on presentation of a concession card.
